Ministry of Industry is preparing national standard (SNI) for toys

Regarding the distribution of imported sub standard toys product in the domestic market, the Ministry of Industry is currently preparing national standards (SNI) for the purpose of consumers protection.

Those SNI will be adopted as a technical regulation for toys product, such as wood dolls, plastical toys, etc. The Director General  of Metal, Machinery, Textiles & Multivarious Industry, Anshari Bukhari, said that the Ministry of Industry has set up a technical committee for SNI of toys.
