Four governments implement technical assistance Project

The technical assistance Project financed by  the Lithuanian Government ,Strengthening of administrative and technical capacities of the National Standards Bodies of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia implementing the Action plans of the European Good Neighborhood Policy” has started with the visit of the Project Leader (Mr. Brunonas i kus) on 12-13 May, 2008.

The main goals of the project are:
-  to increase participation of stakeholders in the national standardization and to establish new national technical committees;
-  to purchase information technology equipment to the National Standards Body;
-  to organize seminar (29 September, 2008) for stakeholders on the benefits of participation in the national and European standardization.
The main result of the project implementation – strengthened administrative and technical capacities of the National Standards Body of the Republic of Armenia
