Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology now published by Elsevier

Elsevier, a world-leading publisher of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, is pleased to announce an agreement to publish the Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology on behalf of the Korean Society of Applied Entomology, the Taiwan Entomological Society and the Malaysian Plant Protection Society.

“The Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology will play a key role in the entomological research community in the Asia-Pacific Region, and will act as a welcome bridge between Asia and the rest of the world in advancing basic and applied entomological research. We will publish content from other regions to reach a broader audience, as well as to share our common interests” said Editor Dr Joon-Ho Lee, of the Seoul National University, Korea.

Dr Dale Seaton, Publisher, Entomology at Elsevier added, “In this, the 10 year anniversary of the first publication of the Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology, we are delighted to have the journal join our portfolio of leading Entomology publications. With an Editorial Board of international scientists we will publish and promote the leading entomological research not only from the Asia-Pacific region, but also from around the world”.

The journal publishes original research papers, review articles and short communications in the basic and applied area concerning insects, mites or other arthropods and nematodes of economic importance in agriculture, forestry, industry, human and animal health, and natural resource and environment management.
