The report on participation in the 25th General Assembly

Оn December, 17th till 18th of 2009 the first time RSE "KazInMetr" participated in the 25th General Assembly of APMP, passing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

On the given action representatives of the National metrological institutes which are a part АРМР from China, Korea, Pakistan, Mongolia, Australia, Bangladesh, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and also Chairmen of TC АРМР have taken part.

The following questions have been considered on General Assembly:
- Acceptance of the minute by 24th General Assambly in Djakarta;
- The report of the Chairman;
- The announcement of new participants, VNIIM and RCC;
- Presentation of 25th General Assembly in Thailand;
- The financial report and the Working program of 2010.

The candidates on Chairman АРМР have been considered, has passed voting with participation only full members АРМР. By the results of voting by the Chairman the professor of YU Yadong - the Head of Bureau on quality and technical supervision of China is selected.

On General Assembly has passed awarding of outstanding figures APMP following the results of 2009 for the contribution to development АРМР and prize-winners of competition «Young metrologist APMР of 2009», presentations of the BIPM and CIPM have been presented. In reports the information on a present condition of the international metrology and prospect of its development has sounded.

Also representatives of the regional metrological organisations, such as, AFRIMETS, COOMET, EURAMET and representatives of the United Nations and IAEA have acted.

Reports of representatives NMI on consideration of SMS-FILES and consideration of questions of the organisation and carrying out of checkings have been presented.

RSE "KazInMetr" readiness to participate in three checkings within the limits of АРМР is declared: on electric resistance and on force intensity of direct and alternate currents.
